How to read these numbers
Two numbers tell the story here. The median tells you what counts as a normal price in the city. The range tells you how spread out it is: a narrow range means the city is priced consistently and an exact budget will work there, a wide range means it holds both bargains and apartments priced well above the market — and there, moving fast pays.
If the city you picked is above your budget, the table below ranks all 94 cities against each other — there is usually a neighboring city with a median a few hundred shekels lower.
You have the price — what now?
Knowing the price is half the job. The other half is reaching the right apartment before everyone else — in the busier cities a good apartment at market price is gone within a day or two.
Yaeli follows all the main sources apartments get posted to, merges the same apartment when it appears in several places, and sends you on WhatsApp only what matches what you asked for — the moment it goes up. No app to download and no signup: tell her what you are looking for and she takes it from there. Yaeli covers all of Israel — every city, town, moshav and kibbutz, and every neighborhood inside them.
About this data & methodology
About this data: figures come from an analysis of 25,959 active public rental listings across Israel, as of September 2026. The headline number is the median — the price exactly half the listings in that city fall below and half above. It represents the market better than a plain average, because one luxury listing cannot drag it upward. The range shown is the 25th to 75th percentile — the middle half of listings. Cities with fewer than 20 listings are not shown. These are asking prices from listings, not signed-contract prices, and they move over time — treat them as a guide, not a quote.
Every city, most to least expensive
Most expensive: Ramat HaSharon (₪11,000). Least expensive: Yerocham (₪2,000).

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between median rent and average rent?
An average divides the sum of all prices by the number of listings, so a handful of penthouses is enough to pull it up and show a price nobody actually pays. The median is the price sitting exactly in the middle: half the listings are cheaper and half are more expensive. In the Israeli rental market, where a minority of luxury apartments is priced far above the rest, the median is much closer to what you will actually pay — which is why we show it.
Where does this data come from?
From a statistical analysis of 25,959 active public rental listings across Israel, as of September 2026. These are asking prices as they appear in listings, not signed-contract prices — a final contract price can come in slightly lower.
Why is my city not on the list?
Cities with fewer than 20 active listings are not shown — too small a sample produces a number that looks precise but isn't reliable. That is a limit of this table, not of Yaeli: she searches everywhere in Israel, so you can ask her for apartments in any city, listed here or not.
How much does Yaeli cost?
Nothing. The service is free during the pilot, we charge no commission and no credit card is needed. Yaeli is not an agency — she finds the apartments for you and sends you the link to the original listing.
How often is this data updated?
The picture on this page is a snapshot of the market as of September 2026, refreshed quarterly. Yaeli herself works on live data — she sees a new listing within seconds of it being posted.
